SYNOPSIS
mdsort |

DESCRIPTION
The mdsort
utility moves messages from one
maildir to another according to a set of rules expressed in the
mdsort.conf(5) format.
The options are as follows:
-D
macro=value- Define macro to be set to value. Overrides the definition of macro in the configuration file.
-d
- Dry run, output which messages would be moved with respect to the current rules.
-f
file- Specify an alternative configuration file.
-n
- Check if the configuration file is valid.
-v
- Verbose mode. Multiple
-v
options increases the verbosity. -
- Read message from stdin.
ENVIRONMENT
TMPDIR
- Path in which to temporarily store a message read from stdin.
FILES
- ~/.mdsort.conf
- The default configuration file.
DIAGNOSTICS
The mdsort
utility exits 0 on
success, and >0 if an error occurs.
